Mexico, N.Y. - The rock candy man has been found!
A 58-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a Halloween incident. Hes accused of allegedly tampering with packages of DOT candy by putting rocks inside, that ended up in the hands of trick-or-treaters.
Jeffrey Beardslee, of Jefferson Street in Mexico, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Beardslee is scheduled to appear in Mexico Town Court later this month.
