Syracuse, N.Y. - A man got stabbed with a screwdriver this morning. Just before noon Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 700 block of Butternut Street in regards to a stabbing call. They met with a 30 year old male who was suffering from lacerations to his chest and right arm.
He said he got into an argument with a male that he has had problems with in the past. The victim stated that the suspect stabbed him with a screwdriver.
Police arrested 27 year old Bhaskar Khatiwoda a short time later. They recovered the screwdriver.
Khatiwoda is charged with Assault in the 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree.
