Syracuse Police Make An Arrest In 2016 Homicide

Syracuse, N.Y. - On a Thursday night in July 2016 , around 11:30 police responded to a shots fired call. They found a 26 year old Gerald J. Solomon, of Syracuse, shot. He was taken to the hospital were he died a few days later.

Since then Detectives have been working on the investigation. They were led to believe that the suspect left the Syracuse area and was living in North Carolina. 

On October 9th, with the help of US Marshals they found the suspect, 40 year old Eduardo Robles Vazquez in Fayetteville, N.C.

He was arrested and brought back to Syracuse where he is charged with Murder in the 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree.
