Utica, N.Y. - A Syracuse man will spend the next 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to a second attempted kidnapping in the last eight years.
38-year-old Raoul Baldwin pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal sex act in relation to a March 2018 incident involving the sexual assault and attempted kidnapping of a child in Utica.
In 2010, Baldwin admitted he tried to kidnap an 11-year-old girl.
Baldwin spent six years in prison for the that offense. Baldwin was also sentenced to 20 years of post-release supervision.
