Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police say they have arrested a woman following a bizarre brawl outside the Rescue Mission Tuesday afternoon.
25-year-old Destanee Smith was charged with assault. She was smashed in the head with a fence post while attacking a man and a woman with a knife.
Witnesses told Syracuse Police that Smith stabbed a 21-year-old man in his chest and buttocks and a 20-year-old woman in her shoulder. Officers say none of the injuries were life-threatening.
Smith was taken over to the Onondaga County Justice Center after being treated for her head injury.
