New York - A new report shows Stephanie Miner is struggling to keep her candidacy for governor afloat.
The former Syracuse mayor recently reported having just $55,000 in her campaign coffers. Data shows Miner has spent more than $400,000 since entering the race over the summer. She is running for governor as an independent candidate as the Serve America Movement's representative.
She isn't alone.
Republican candidate for governor Marc Molinaro is reportedly running out of money with just weeks to go before the election. He has $210,000 in his war chest and owes his running mate Julie Killian $45,000 that she loaned to the campaign.
Cuomo has more than $9 million in campaign funds.
At this time four years ago, former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino had $1.2 miillion in the bank when he ran against Cuomo.
