Ex Principal Considering Plea Deal In Sexual Abuse Charge

Syracuse, N.Y. - A former middle school principal has one week to decide to take a plea that would keep him out of jail.

Mark Trabucco, 40 who was a principal at Boonville Middle school, has been offered a deal for sexually abusing a child under the age of 17.

The deal is 10 years probation and he will have to register as a sex offender. He is accused of meeting up with the child under 17 after connecting on Craig's list and participating in multiple sex acts.

The defense lawyer, William Sullivan, is trying to get a better deal.

The prosecutor Misha Coulson, however says that is their final offer.

Judge Matthew Doran gave Trabucco one week to decide.
