Syracuse, N.Y. - A DWI lawyer may get his drinking and driving ticket dismissed.
Tom Anelli , who made his name as the 'DWI Guy,' was charged with driving with ability impaired during an incident in the village of Liverpool early in last month.
Given the low level of alcohol, .06, Anelli was granted this week an "adjournment in contemplation of dismissal" known as ACD.
The DA's office promised to drop the charge in six months if Anelli stays out of trouble and follows other terms.
