Fayetteville Man Charged With Downloading Child Porn

Syracuse, N.Y. - A Fayetteville man has been arrested for child porn.

Alan Longmore, 66 had been downloading videos from a peer to peer sharing program. 

Longmore appeared in Federal Court today to answer to the charges. 

U.S. Attorney's Office of the Northern District of New York says authorities found files on his computer containing videos of children in sex acts. 

Longmore admitted that he had been receiving child porn for 6 years.

 If convicted, he faces 5  to 20 years in prison, a fine up to $250,000 dollars and will be  a registered sex offender.

He remains in custody at least until a hearing scheduled for Oct. 10.
