Second Victim In West Monroe Assault Has Died

West Monroe, N.Y. - The second victim in a deadly assault in Oswego County earlier this month has died. 

Deputies were called to a home in the town of West Monroe on Sept. 10th where they found 2 people who had been assaulted. 

Robert Diffin who lived at the home died that day. Michael Shane was in critical condition and taken to a hospital. Shane died today as a result of the injuries he sustained. 

After the incident, authorities arrested  Mathew R. LeBoeuf of Central Square. He is facing murder and assault charges connected to the the death of Diffin and has now been charged with a second count of murder in second degree.
