Syracuse Police Make Arrest After Townsend St. Brawl Thursday

Syracuse police make the first of what may be multiple arrests after three people were stabbed in a large fight on South Townsend Street Thursday.

Police were called to the location just before 4 PM and found a large crowd of people, who directed officers to two stabbing victims.  Police also learned a third stabbing victim had been taken to Upstate University Hospital.  None of the victim's injuries are considered serious.

The investigation into who might have stabbed these victims led to the arrest of 22-year-old Tyria Loftin of Croly Street.  She's facing assault and weapons charges.  Police say that additional arrests and charges are possible.
