Albany, N.Y. - After weeks of speeches and campaign stops, Governor Cuomo and Cynthia Nixon will battle at the ballot box today.
Voters will decide who will be the Democratic Party's nominee for governor. Polls show Cuomo with a sizable lead, but Nixon believes she has momentum on her side. The governor is looking to take a step toward his third term, while Nixon has never held elected office.
The winner faces Republican Marc Molinaro in November.
Polls open today at noon.
