Spectrum Will Operate In NY For At Least An Additional Month

Albany, N.Y. - Spectrum has been given another month to operate in New York State.

The Public Service Commission is giving Charter Communications a 30-day extension to file their 6-month exit plan.  The PSC voted at the end of July to revoke Charter's 2016 acquisition of Time Warner Cable. The commission accused Charter of dragging its feet in meeting terms they agreed to in their merger.

Since getting their approval pulled, the two sides have reportedly been in legal negotiations that could keep Charter in New York.
