Town of West Monroe, N.Y. - Oswego County Sheriffs are investigating an apparent assault that has caused the death of one person.
This morning around 11:30 deputies answered an emergency medical call at 347 Breckheimer Road in the Town of West Monroe and found 2 people injured.
They were taken to the hospital where one died and the other remains in critical condition. There was a third person on the scene who is cooperating with the Sheriffs. Their injuries do not appear to have caused by a gunshot.
So far neither has been identified at this time.
Deputies are continuing to investigate and ask if anyone has any information to contact them.
