Two Arrested In Connection With Fire Alarm Burglaries On SU Campus

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police have solved a string of burglaries on the SU campus.

The suspects would set off the fire alarms and the students would leave the building only to return to their rooms and find belongings missing, including laptops, cell phones, other small electronics and personal property. These incidents occurred at 303 Stadium Place and 405 University Avenue.

As a result of this investigation, Police now have arrested 19 year old Abraham Mestre, and 17 year old Peter Geremia.  Detectives charged each of them with 15 counts of Burglary int he 2nd degree and 2 counts of Falsely Reporting an Incident in the 2nd degree. 

They were both are in the County jail.
