Syracuse, N.Y. - Summer may be winding down, but the warm weather and humidity are still sticking around.
It will feel like more than 100 in some spots today prompting a heat advisory across Central New York from noon until eight tonight.
However, this could be the heat and humidity's last hoorah. Meteorologists are predicting that the month of September will be more seasonable.
If you have to be outside, drink plenty of fluids and make sure you take constant breaks to cool off.
A hot and humid day is expected today. A heat advisory is also in effect for most of the area this afternoon and evening. Another concern late tonight and Thursday is some scattered thunderstorms with a storm or two producing gusty winds. #pawx #nywx pic.twitter.com/Kz6W8l1VG8— NWS Binghamton (@NWSBinghamton) September 5, 2018
