Syracuse, N.Y. - A 61 year old Lafayette man has pleaded guilty to having sex with a 5 year old child.
Randy Taylor, of 2398 Route 11A pleaded guilty before a Supreme Court Judge today thus avoiding a Grand Jury trial and sparing the victim from having to testify.
Taylor is accused of performing a sex act on the girl. The girl told an adult and Taylor was arrested.
Taylor was promised a sentence of 2 1/2 years.
He remains free on bail and will be sentenced next month.
