Baldwinsville, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened early this morning on Tappan Street in the Village of Baldwinsville.
Around 1 am Deputies along with Baldwinsville Police and rescue personnel responded to the 100 block of Tappan Street for a reported crash involving a motorcycle that struck a parked vehicle.
Deputies say the motorcycle being driven by a 21 year old male was traveling east on Tappan Street at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a curve and struck a parked vehicle in a driveway.
The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation continues. The name of the victim is being withheld at this time.
