Auburn, N.Y. - Last night around 8:42 an Auburn woman was hit and killed. The 20 year old female crossed the road and was struck by a pickup truck. She was airlifted to Upstate where she passed away this morning. Police are investigating why she tried to cross the street at the location she did. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and has been cooperating with authorities.
Auburn Police Officers and Detectives are attempting gather any information from witnesses, bystanders, or passerby’s who may have witnessed anything. Additionally, area businesses are requested to check their store surveillance footage in effort to see if any of the accident was captured, and if so to contact the Auburn Police.
