Solvay Police Arrest Man For Armed Robbery

Solvay, N.Y. - Tuesday August 14 around 11 PM, the Solvay Police Department responded to the Delles Sunoco station on W. Genesee St.. for an armed robbery that had just occurred.  

Witnesses said the suspect entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded money from the cashier before fleeing the scene on foot. 

As police investigated and looked over the store surveillance video footage, they were able to identify the suspect as 33yr old Cameron M. Grady of 5 Kingsley Place, Syracuse.  

Solvay Police located Mr. Grady at his residence around 6am today and as they tried to take him into custody, Grady attempted to flee out the back door.  He was caught, arrested and charged with Robbery 1st, Menacing 2nd, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th and Petit Larceny.
