New York - New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is continuing to get slammed for a comment he made about America this week.
Speaking at a bill signing event in New York City, Cuomo said, "We're not going to make America great again - it was never that great."
Republican candidate for governor Marc Molinaro seized on the statement and made the rounds on Thursday, doing TV and radio interviews throughout the day. He wants Cuomo to apologize for what he said. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is pressing Cuomo to issue a clear statement saying that America is a great country.
