Owasco Lake, N.Y. - The driver of a pontoon boat has been arrested for B.W.I after two of his passengers were injured.
57 year old Frank McKay was operating his 28 foot pontoon boat when 43 year old Amy McKay and 44 year old William Lansbury left the boat to go into the water. The motor was still running and the two were struck by the running prop and injured.
Amy McKay suffered serious injury to her arm and was airlifted to University Hospital. Lansbury suffered injuries to his lower extremities and was taken to University Hospital by ambulance.
Frank McKay was arrested at the scene for Boating While Intoxicated.
The investigation is continuing.
