Two Syracuse Women Fight, Car Window Smashed, One Stabbed

Syracuse, N.Y. -   Last night around 6:55pm, Syracuse Police went to the 700 block of West Onondaga Street regarding a stabbing.  

Quantia Griswold, 27, of Syracuse got into an argument with Breonna Cox, 26, of Syracuse.  Cox used a metal pipe and smashed the driver's side window of Griswold’s car.  Griswold got out of her car and stabbed Cox in the stomach.  

Both suspects were on scene when police arrived and were taken into custody.  Cox sustained a laceration to her hand and stomach.  Griswold sustained cuts to her hand. They were both transported to local area hospitals and treated. 

Cox was arrested for Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, Menacing in the 2nd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.  

Griswold was arrested for Assault in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.
