Syracuse Police Investigating Two Shootings Last Night

Last night around 7:24 PM, Syracuse Police Officers responded to the area of Apple Street and Sackett Street in regards to a shooting call. They found a male in his 30’s suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital for treatment. His injury is not considered life threatening.

The incident occurred in the 100 block of Sackett Street, and the suspect was possibly last seen leaving the area in a red vehicle. No other information is availabel at this time. 

Then around 11:38 PM, Syracuse Police went to the area of Tallman Street and Lincoln Avenue in response to another shooting call. When they got there the met with a man in his 60's who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his right leg. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital, with non life threatening injury. 

The suspect in that shooting possibly left the area in a dark colored sedan. There is no additional suspect description available. Several spent shell casings were also located.
