Brooklyn, N.Y. - A Mexican couple detained at Fort Drum is back in their Brooklyn home awaiting a deportation hearing.
Concepcion and Margarita Silva were taken into custody July 4th after they showed their New York City issued ID cards along with Mexican passports at Fort Drum where they were visiting their pregnant daughter and enlisted son-in-law.
They were released this week after posting 20-thousand-dollars bond.
