Syracuse, N.Y. - Governor Andrew Cuomo announced today construction has begun on new company headquarters in Syracuse.
TCG Player, an online market place and software business, has begun a 3.3 million dollar renovation plan on 44,000 square feet of space inside the Galleries of Syracuse.
When completed TCG Player will be able to hire 300 new people as well as retain the current jobs for at least 5 years.
The new headquarters will feature an interactive design that will enagage the community through a street level view of the space along with "pop culture-themed" workplaces.
Due to TCGPlayers growth they are now eligible for 2.4 million thru the State's Excelsior program and 550,000 dollars through a CNY Regional Capital grant.
Construction is expected to be completed in Fall of next year.
