Syracuse, N.Y. - A young lady went on a shooting spree Wednesday night in Syracuse.
Syracuse Police say that 19-year-old Princess Sweet shot a 20-year-old man in the hand with a sawed-off Ruger 22 rifle on Fernwood Ave around 9:00 p.m. He was taken to the hospital where he has been recovering.
Then about 10:30 p.m. police say that the went back to the same Southside neighborhood for reports of a woman firing shots into the air. It was at that point police were able to determine Sweet was involved in the shooting spree.
She is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd and 3rd degrees, Assault in the 2nd degree and Reckless Endangerment in the 1st degree. She's being held at the Justice Center.
