Syracuse Man Shot During Brazen Break In

Syracuse, N.Y. - A man is in critical condition after being shot in the chest during a violent break-in on Syracuse's Westside. 

Police say that it happened about 3:25 a.m. near the intersection of Morgan Ave. near the intersection of Avery Ave.

Police say the men broke into the home, and began to ransack the residence. The 39-year-old walked in while it was taking place and that is when police say he was shot. 

One suspect was described as wearing a grey colored “track suit” with a gold mask.
