Cicero, N.Y. - Folks in Cicero are going to get the chance to find out what goes into being a police officer.
The department is planning to hold a Citizens Police Academy this fall. It's set to run from September 11th until December 11th at police headquarters. They run from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays. People will learn about what officers do on the job, go on a tour of the 911 center and see police K-9 demonstrations.

This will be the fourth consecutive year that the Department has held the training.
