Syracuse, N.Y. - A tractor Trailer has hit the railroad overpass on Park Street.
Park street both ways between Onondaga Lake Parkway and Harborside Drive closed.
This is the railroad overpass that is near Destiny USA.
Often the overpass on Onondaga Lake Parkway is the victim of a not so alert tractor trailer driver.
This comes a day after Mayor Ben Walsh shared his concerned about reports from the Federal Railroad Administration and the NY Susquehanna & Western Railroad as to the safety and structural soundness of railroad viaducts in the city.
No word on how long those streets will be effected . Until then its advised that you avoid that area.
