Skelos Jury Deliberations May Have To Start All Over Again

Jury deliberations in the corruption retrial of Dean and Adam Skelos may have to start all over again.  A juror with long-standing vacation plans sent a note to the Manhattan federal judge on Monday reminding her about the cruise she has booked for Saturday.  She said she needs time to get ready, including taking her dogs to the kennel and getting her hair done.  It's day three of deliberations and the judge said if there's no verdict by Thursday, she'll replace the juror with an alternate, meaning deliberations would start from scratch.  Skelos, the former Senate Majority leader and his son are accused of bribery and extortion for allegedly pressuring companies into giving Adam six-figure no-show jobs in exchange for political favors.
