Border Patrol Detained Parents At Fort Drum

The daughter of illegal immigrants from Mexico detained in Fort Drum is pleading for their release. Concepcion and Margarito Silva have lived in Brooklyn for 20 years and went to Fort Drum on July 4th to visit their son-in-law. Once there, Border Patrol questioned their IDs and detained them.  Perla Silva issued a tearful call for their release on Wednesday saying both of her parents are in need of immediate medical attention, noting that her mother recently underwent heart surgery.
