All Four In Buffalo Billions Trial Found Guilty

All four defendants in a New York state corruption trial have been found guilty on all charges.

The four defendants included two Syracuse-area business executives.

Cor Development executives Steven Aiello and Joseph Gerardi were found guilty of wire fraud and conspiracy along with former SUNY Polytechnic Institute President Alain Kaloyeros and Buffalo builder Louis Ciminelli.

Gerardi was also convicted of lying to federal authorities.

The jury deliberated for nearly two days after a month long trial.

The men were accused of rigging bids for state-funded contracts that totaled more than $850 million.
