Youth soccer team and their coach, trapped underground since June 23rd, now out and receiving medical attention. At this writing, four rescuers remain inside, but all are experts and should be out fairly soon. An international team of rescuers, led by Thailand's Navy, made all this work against impossible odds. The nation of Thailand rejoices, President Trump sends kudos and congratulations.

SU FOOTBALL GETS A COMMITMENT FROM A BIG RECRUIT

Matthew Bergeron, class of 2019 from Thetford Mines, Quebec, commits to the Orange. Offensive lineman goes 6-6, 300 pounds (so in kilograms, that's... oh, never mind). Still young, will undoubtedly add strength and size in the weight room. This kid is an offensive line coach's dream. Hope he has good footwork...

IVANKA WOWS THE LOCAL FOLKS

First Daughter Ivanka Trump made two stops in Central New York yesterday, one here in Syracuse at Central High's Institute of Technology. She met with a selected group of students and guests, was hosted by Representative John Katko. The Congressman was impressed, although he told us he didn't get caught up in the glitz and glamor.
