Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol is reminding everyone that there will be an Open House and Job Fair at the Sheriff’s Office next Monday, July 9th from 1:00pm until 7:00pm. The event will be taking place at the 6065 Judd Road, Oriskany headquarters. Staff members from the various divisions will be on hand to explain the various positions that they are recruiting for including full and part time Correction Officers and full time Deputy Sheriffs. The application, testing, and hiring process , along with salary & benefits will also be explained. Staff will also be available to assist with completing the job applications. In addition, there will be equipment displays, K-9 demonstrations, and tours of the correctional facility. Although the main goal of this event is to recruit new future employees, everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend to learn about the Sheriff’s Office and all of the services we provide to the community.
