Syracuse, N.Y. - There's no relief just yet for the heat wave that's been gripping Central New York.
A heat advisory will once again be in effect for parts of the region. Temperatures are expected to be close to 90, but with the humidity it's going to feel much warmer. With that in mind, there are concerns about the health of elderly people or those who suffer from respiratory issues. If you know someone who may have trouble with the heat, you're asked to check on them throughout the day.
Cooler temperatures are in store for the weekend, following one of the hottest Independence Days on record.
