Trooper Killed In Corning While Responding To Domestic Calll

A New York state trooper responding to an early-morning domestic call has been killed along with a suspect. 

Associated Press is reporting that the trooper (who has not been identified yet)  was killed while responding to a domestic dispute south of Corning, near SUNY Corning Community College. There was a massive police presence on the scene.

Corning Community College said the incident did not involve any SUNY Corning Community College students or personnel."There is no threat to the campus," the college said. "All offices are open. The state police are investigating the incident and are using one of the college's parking lots as a command center."
