Due to the high temperature and humidity forecasted for this weekend, Onondaga County Executive Joanie Mahoney is pleased to announce that Jamesville Beach and Oneida Shores will be open from 11AM until 8pm. “We are pleased to keep open our beaches for extended hours this weekend,” said County Executive Joanie Mahoney. “A trip to Oneida Shores or Jamesville Beach is a great way to stay cool during the hot weather forecasted.” People are also encouraged to check on their elderly neighbors, friends and family during the hot weather. Regular weekend hours for Jamesville Beach and Oneida Shores are 11am-6pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday through August 12th. Regular weekday hours are Monday through Thursday 12pm - 6pm through August 12th.
