Onondaga County Executive Joanie Mahoney announced Wednesday that she has requested the project account for the Amphitheater... created as part of the 2016 budget process... be closed. The contingency project account included an allocation of $951,000 that will no longer be needed. Mahoney says the request comes as the success of St. Joseph's Health Amphitheater at Lakeview has demonstrated the funds are no necessary.
