Four Vehicles Struck By Gunfire

On Saturday June 23rd,  2018 at approximately 11:28 PM, Syracuse Police Officers responded to 925 Onondaga Avenue, the Stop N’ Shop store, in regards to a shots fired  call.  Upon arrival, Officers located several shell casings in the  street and in the parking lot.  There were 4 four  vehicles struck by gunfire during this incident, but there were no  injuries reported as a result of the shots fired.

A 4 year old child suffered an injury to his head when the vehicle he  was riding in struck a utility pole while trying to leave the  area of the gunfire.  The child appears to have hit his head on the  seat in front of him during the crash.  He was transported to Upstate  University Hospital by AMR Ambulance to be evaluated.  The injury is not  life threatening.

The suspects were last seen in a dark colored pickup truck on Parkside  Avenue leaving the area.  At this time, there is no additional  suspect description.
