A Cortland County man who was hit by a pickup truck Thursday morning now faces charges himself.
The Cortland County Sheriff's Office says 41-year-old man was walking in the middle of Route 13 in the Town of Homer around 4:20 this morning when he was hit by a small pickup truck.
The man was not injured and the truck suffered only minor damage.
After an investigation the man was issued a traffic ticket for walking in the road and for not walking facing traffic. He was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The man is due in court July 10.
