Syracuse Woman Stopped By Police Who Find Two Guns

Saturday, June 16, around 3am, Syracuse Police saw a Chrysler Pacifica, go through   red light. The stopped the vehicle being driven by 26 year old Jazzmin Elmore, of Syracuse.

During the course of his investigation, police asked Elmore to step out of the vehicle. She then put the put the car in drive and took off. After a short pursuit the vehicle crashed at the intersection of S. State Street and E. Brighton Ave. 

Elmore then left  the vehicle and fled on foot. Police chased her and was taken into custody. Elmore fought with police as they attempted to place her in cuffs.

At the scene of the crash, police located an H&R Model R73 .32 caliber revolver, loaded with five rounds of ammunition and Glock Model 17 9mm semi-automatic handgun.

Elmore was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Resisting Arrest, Failure to Comply and various vehicle and traffic law infractions.
