On Sunday June 17th, 2018 at approximately 11:08 PM, Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 300 block of Putnam Street in regards to a shooting call. Upon arrival, Officers met with a 34 year old male, who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital by AMR Ambulance personnel for treatment. His injury is not considered to be life threatening.
The victim stated that he was standing outside when he was shot, but did not provide Officers any further details regarding the incident. At this time, there is no suspect information available.
