Utica Man Allows 12 Year Old Relative To Use Drugs

According to Oneida County Sheriff's Office a City of Utica man was arrested for an incident that occurred on June 6th, 2018.

Oneida County Sheriff's were conducting an investigation in to an unrelated matter when he found that James S. Wrana, age 46, had allowed a 12 year old female relative in to his apartment. While under his supervision, Wrana allowed the female to engaged in activities that jeopardized her physical, mental and moral welfare, which included drug use, while he was in an intoxicated state and unable to supervise the female. 

Wrana was charged with one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Misdemeanor. He is scheduled to appear in Utica City Court later this week.

The victim has been offered counseling through the Child Advocacy Center and an Order of Protection has been requested.
