North Syracuse Bus Driver Allegedly Drives Bus Drunk

A Central New York school bus driver is accused of driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Onondaga County Sheriff's Office say North Syracuse School  bus driver 50 year old Beth Walters, of Kirkville was removed from her duties March 27 after being suspected of driving drunk. Co-workers told school officials they detected a strong odor of alcohol. She was subjected to a blood test which revealed she was impaired. she was suspended  by the district that day and has since been charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. She is due in the Town of Clay Court  June 28.
