Syracuse University Suspending 15 Frat Members

The school's student newspaper published two videos showing members of the Theta Tau engineering fraternity saying racial slurs, simulating sex acts and mocking people with disabilities. The attorney representing the 15 students, Karen Felter, says the university has suspended the students indefinitely for one to two years. She said this means the school doesn't have to readmit them once the suspension is over. The fraternity has apologized about the videos, saying "Anyone of color or of any marginalized group who has seen this video has every right to be angry and upset with the despicable contents of that video."
