Sodus, N.Y. - Deputies in Wayne County have intensified their search for a missing woman and her toddler.
It's been more than a week since 18-year-old Selena Hidalgo-Calderon and her 14-month-old son have been seen. Yesterday law enforcement called in K-9 units and a Medical Examiner to help search for them at a farm in Sodus where she worked.
Hidalgo-Calderon is a Guatamallian national who was seeking refugee status in the United States. She was expected to go before a judge soon to determine her legal status.
Authorities have also been unable to contact a man with whom Selena was romantically involved.
