Authorities have arrested a Central New York man on Child Pornography charges.
New York State Police, along with U.S. Marshalls Service and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations Division arrested Joel T. DePietro, age 40, from 5670 Hamilton Road Jordan, NY for Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (D-felony) and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child (E-felony).
The arrest followed an investigation in which Depietro had uploaded sexual images of children over the course of several months to an internet service provider.
DePietro was taken to the Onondaga County Justice Center.
