Buffalo Exec. Pleads Guilty; Will Help Persecutors In Buffalo Billion Case

A former developer is taking a plea deal to help Federal Prosecutors with the Buffalo Billion corruption trial.

Kevin Schuler is a former executive of LP Ciminelli Corporation. He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and wire fraud. He admitted that he worked with prominent state officials to rigging bids and guarantee that his firm would be chosen for lucrative state projects.  

Schuler faces up to 40 years in prison for the charges and will have to pay restitution. 

The corruption trial gets underway next month.
