Albany, N.Y. - A Hudson Valley company is being investigated for receiving millions in state grants after marking campaign contributions to Governor Cuomo.
An Albany newspaper reports that Crystal Run Healthcare received $25 Million in grants after executives, family members, and employees donated thousands to Cuomo in 2013. The contributions reportedly totaled more than $400,000.
The U.S. attorney's office for the Southern District of New York is leading the probe and issued subpoenas for testimony from Crystal Run employees.
Officials at the company have declined to comment.
Cuomo's office said that the campaign contributions haven't influenced policy decisions.
